About Andrew West

Andrew "Westy" West is a standup comedian and writer. Since graduating from Logan Murray's renowned "Stand Up & Deliver" course in early 2011 he has been performing around the London circuit. He is 25% of the Gagsters Paradise team that runs Why the Long Face? - a fortnightly comedy night based in Lambeth. As if all that wasn't enough, he writes and edits material for other comedians. Only when they ask him to, of course. Andrew sometimes inexplicably writes about himself in the third person. This may or may not be ones of those times.

Just in case anyone was worried – I survived my stag night unscathed. I’m not entirely sure how, but nonetheless I’m intact and sporting the traditional number of eyebrows. I’ve only gigged twice since my last post here – both

This Friday I’m gigging at the night I run with some friends – Why the Long Face?. It’s a slightly unusual occasion for me personally, as it’s the beginning of my stag weekend so a few of my friends are

Howdy. I’m a comedian – admittedly a very very minor one, but a comedian nonetheless. It’s a bit like playing Sunday League and then telling everyone you’re a footballer, but I’m sticking by it. So there. I’ve been doing standup
